The hotel has an excellent location, restaurants , shopping, near several attractions. The room was super cute and a very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The hotel is interesting by itself, it was a monastery, school and government offices. The rooms have monk names and it is all renovated. The food at the restaurant is excellent. The staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. I definitely will go back

A beautiful property in an excellent location! It is incredibly close to the Zócalo, fantastic restaurants, and tour meeting points. During our stay, it was beautifully decorated for Fall and Day of the Dead. However, a few improvements would go a long way. We stayed in a very spacious ground-level room, but it lacked bedside lamps, which is a critical feature for guests. Additionally, while the property showcases charming antiques, some of the furniture feels rundown rather than historic; for instance, our room had a very squeaky cabinet. Unfortunately, our room was also located next to the staff rooms, which meant loud noises overnight and very early in the day, making it quite difficult to sleep. With some noise control measures and minor furniture updates, this boutique hotel would be much better.

This hotel was in the perfect location. The staff were awesome for the hotel and the restaurant and mezcal bar on the property. There is no elevator and is boutique hotel with 12 rooms. The rooms are spacious. The bed was comfortable but not the linen. My husband complained of being itchy. There are are no windows so room got stuffy in the evening. We opened our door and would let the air in. The other issue was our room faced into the open courtyard where the restaurant is at and they start setting up at 7 am and they were noisy including having music on that traveled upward. So no sleeping in past 730-8. The front desk organized a tour and laundry service for us. Both were excellent. Lastly, the internet was not good in the room, even though they have a room specific log on. It was great in the restaurant and bar.

The location, staff and decor were wonderful. Overall my experience was great. My only issue was my floor had not been cleaned and was dirty. Otherwise it was clean I am certainly recommending it and would return. Old Puebla is not a town with many English speakers. Though everyone worked with my limited Spanish. The hotel and people I met were kind and welcoming to Anglos.
