It seems it is a new o renovated hotel so we did not have any issues with our room. The parking lot is underground and has two levels. The staff was respectful. However, they demanded official ID for all the guests 18 years old and older regardless of their country (usually, only the person paying for the stay has to provide an ID.) The water in the swimming pool is not heated. The restaurant charges $300 MX for the breakfast while you can get it outside for $145 MX. It is not close to touristic places, like downtown, so you need to get a cab or rent a car.

Gran Hotel de Puebla by HNF is a pleasant hotel located in an industrial area, seemingly geared toward guests connected to the local automotive industry. The common areas are large, open, and comfortable, and the rooms are clean and well organized. The staff deserves special recognition for being very kind and always willing to go the extra mile when assistance is needed. Overall, the service experience was excellent, and I would rate the hotel a 6 out of 5 for hospitality. That said, there are a few areas for improvement. In the first room assigned to us, the electrical outlets near the coffee maker and refrigerator were not working. In both rooms we used, the sink drainage was slow, and some of the towels appeared worn and should be replaced. These issues suggest the hotel could benefit from a more proactive maintenance plan or a partial renovation. Despite these points, the hotel is a good and safe option in the area and provides a very attentive service.
