"My wife and I were passing through on our way to Moab. She loved this place. The room was really unique and fun. She enjoyed the decor, the tub, and especially the DVD copy of the movie filmed in the mansion. The bed was comfy, the open kitchen was great, and the grounds were well maintained. Our only complaint was the housekeeping. The table in our room had rice grains left on it (from someone else’s lunch). And the stairway/ entryway could use a vacuuming and a dusting (there were cobwebs). But in the end happy wife= happy life. Will definitely recommend to other couples passing through."

Sundance Massive Cabin - Huge hot tub, Fireplaces in each room, acres of privacy

8/10 Good
"My family had a great week - 27 of us from across the country. The scenery was spectacular. Kids and grandkids took turns preparing awesome meals and providing entertainment.Tips:If you need the apartment bedroom, assign that room to someone who doesn't mind the roaring exhaust fan over the stove that needs to run 24x7 and is 25 feet of open space from the bedroom.Plan to take a few days to adjust to light switches in one room that actually control lights in another room. Take several flashlights. The closets are dark and the lighting in three of the closets is not working. Some bedrooms also have light bulbs out (as reported in previous reviews), or I never found the right switch. When working in the kitchen, be careful to not bump the decorative pot rack hanging over the food prep area. Donna R. mentioned the dust in her 6/10 review a month or two ago, and the owners haven't had time to address it yet. When making toast, one side of the bread will be toasted. You can flip the bread around and run another cycle. Maybe previous vacationers didn't report this issue, and actually I didn't either. Two recent 6/10 reviews were posted right after I made my final payment for the house. They caused me a little panic. I called the owners who confirmed that the hot tub would be working by the time I got there (it was), and the cleanliness issues were not real (they were). My family had a great time here, and none of the items mentioned above decreased our enjoyment of the week."
