"Recently stayed at this charming renovated farmhouse near Cavo in Elba. The mountainous backdrop was a peaceful setting. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower and the vintage furniture that added character to the place. The air conditioning (Klimaanlage) kept the indoors comfortable, and the mattresses ensured restful nights. The house was spotless upon arrival, and the hosts were both responsive and approachable. Overall, a pleasant and wonderful stay. Would recommend to anybody!"

This means walking very fast down hill (!). It took me 20 minutes in the early morning. Up hill it will take much more minutes.The apartment smelled very bad. "We enjoyed a week at this property in Elba with our girls aged 11 and 13 years. The location is really the best thing about this property - only a 1 minute walk to a lovely little family beach, which we went to every day. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance but you would need a car to get to shops and around the island to explore .
