"We enjoyed a week at this property in Elba with our girls aged 11 and 13 years. The location is really the best thing about this property - only a 1 minute walk to a lovely little family beach, which we went to every day. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance but you would need a car to get to shops and around the island to explore . The gardens are beautiful and the house is well generally equipped. Mozzie spray is needed if you go in August. Communication with the owner was...

"The advertisement is not fully correct:The location is in the small neighbourhood of Valle buia, further away from Seccheto. The walking route to the restaurants is mentioned as '13 minutes'. This means walking very fast down hill (!). It took me 20 minutes in the early morning. Up hill it will take much more minutes.The apartment smelled very bad. The odour of an old place and/or sewer problems made it necassary to open 20 hrs a day the windows of the 1st and 2nd floor. With this treatment it...

"We had a nice stay as family, no disturbance from mobile phones because there is almost no cellular network there. The access to the parking lot is quite steep and might not fit for all cars, which should be considered, other parking is hard to find. We felt very welcomed with the hosts, who spoke italian and german. Thank you!"

The garden was beautiful, there were good restaurants in walking distance and the atmosphere of the whole place was almost magical. Parking was close by but not directly at the house, which was a good thing because you don’t want to drive in those narrow alleyways. We took so many pictures! Communication with our host was great and Marco had many helpful suggestions for activities and places to visit."

"The villa is beyond perfect, all facilities present for a good stay with small children. The house was clean and complete; kitchen equipment, storage space and furniture. Great and well maintained garden (even more spacious than the photo's indicate). Would recommend!"
