"Terrible check-in experience and rude management. We had an awful check-in experience. They tried to give us a room where the balcony directly faced another balcony, leaving us with absolutely no privacy as neighbors could look right into our room. When we politely expressed our dissatisfaction, the manager rudely shouted at us. We were told that because we booked a "cheap rate" through Expedia, they wouldn't help us or give us another room, and that we should contact Expedia instead. They explicitly stated things would be different only if we had booked directly. Appalling customer service. "
"I loved my my stay in the hotel Arya in Sirmione. We stayed in a king room with small terrace and it was perfect. The room is compact but not too small and we were very comfortable. There isn’t a lot of storage space for clothing so if you’re there for more than a few days you might struggle a little. We didn’t mind keeping some in the suitcase. There is a cupboard on top of the hanging unit but not easy to reach. The room was immaculately clean.
Breakfast was amazing and the staff a joy to see in the morning always happy and friendly. Definitely in the right job in hospitality!! There was a great selection of hot and cold food to most diets. Tea coffee and biscuits were available all day and there is a vending machine on the front porch with chocolate, and water etc.
reception staff go above and beyond to help and Michael was especially helpful to us.
All in all this little hotel made our stay in Sirmione very pleasant and enjoyable.
Thank you so much

"Hotel, spa, staff and food were lovely. However, they don’t put on the air conditioning until summer so you had to leave your balcony door open to cool the room down and you could hear traffic and people downstairs. It’s very close to a busy road which took from the holiday. Also, the shower kept switching from really hot to really cold! "
"We showed up and no sheets were on our bed and we had no towels. They said that this isn't a hotel but it's a village! I guess that means you get nothing and pay extra for everything. They charge for linen, towels and even wifi. Plus a very high cleaning fee (even though we literally stayed there for less then 12 hours). I felt scammed staying here and will take this up with hotels.com to be more clear with places like this. For the price I ended up paying (an extra nearly 100 euros) I could've stayed somewhere nicer for less $$$. Very disappointed "
