"Our stay was excellent. Right from check in until check out. We booked parking which was easy to find and easy to get your cases into the hotel. The room was a bit dated but it was immaculately clean, was a lovely size and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bar area was good and all the staff friendly. They had a happy hour between 5 and 6.30 where wine, beer and spirits were €8each. Ideal after a hard day exploring the lovely town of Launceston. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that but it was always busy. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel for location, comfort and friendly staff. Thanks very much for making our stay in Launceston special."

"The Terrence restaurant was excellent. Staff generally very friendly, except for the breakfast restaurant. They seemed annoyed when we asked for poached eggs, there were no cups left for tea or coffee. Again, they said 'aren't there any at your table". Impatient when we asked for help. We had the Balmoral suite, the view was incredible. It was a superior room and the bath was very deep and luxurious. The grounds were very relaxing. "
