"This is an excellent property. Some of the highlights Area to spread out. There is ample deck space (with BBQ and Hot Tub), a gaming area, and plenty of tvs and such. Our family of 10 stayed comfortably with no overlaps. The teens found the area downstairs fun, and the youngin's loved the loft twin room. The natural wood gave it a great lodge atmosphere. One highlight was the picnic table and fire pit down by the small pond which we had a great "Smore Night" there. There are a lot of amenities previously mentioned but highlighting here: Picnic table/fire pit, Washer/dryer, large game area with ping pong table, multiple TVs (large screen) and 2 Master. The mattresses, pillows and bedding is comfortable. Although this really can't be improved, there is not a lot of insulation between walls, so noise did transmit to adjacent rooms. Recommend a few more items in the kitchen such as larger serving / cookware / baking dishes. We had to use the large plastic bowls to prep food for BBQ for example and would prefer glassware. We found some of the dishes and bowls on the small side. Some more trinkets would be helpful (cheese grater, metal spatulas/serving, etc). We were able to make due, but for the size of the house a few more items would be helpful. A teakettle would be a nice to have as well. I don't know if local tv is even provided, as I didn't see it, but we mostly stream anyway and for that there is adequate wi-fi to stream to multiple screens simultaneously. There were times it slowed, but for the mountains, it's very good. Thank you for making this great home available, I'm sure members of our family will use it in the future."

"My husband and I really enjoyed this very comfortable and well decorated cabin. It was very clean and offered so many amenities - I especially liked the phone charging docks throughout the home. It had everything we needed. We spent quite a few hours sitting out on the deck relaxing and enjoying the view. So peaceful! I work remotely and was shocked that I could work on the deck during a July afternoon for several hours without going inside because of the heat. The breeze was so enjoyable! Loved everything about this cabin and the communication with the host. We never needed anything but Daniel would check on us to let us know he was easily accessible by text or phone. Overall wonderful experience!"

"Place could be cleaner ( chairs, floor and porche , refrigerator) We found a bug in the bed Called to the phone. Number provided to ask a question about the trash container but nobody responded. In general it is a very nice quiet place."

"We have stayed in VRBO properties all over the United States and we agree that this was perhaps the best property we have ever stayed in. It is immaculately maintained and Britt and Stephen have thought of every way to make the property a home away from home. Spacious, clean, with lots of extras such as a s'mores bar, coffee bar, complementary snacks, an extra dog bowl in event you forgot one for your pet, local beer samples...just little things that demonstrate commitment to hospitality.The property is remote and quiet. You will have solitude and a true outdoor experience, but is still close enough to Franklin where you have ample restaurant, shopping and marketplaces within a 15 minute drive. The cabin itself is amazing. It is perfect for what it is...it maintains a rustic feel appropriate for the mountain setting and stunning view. Yet, inside it has the feel of an upscale hotel. It is a 5 experience."
