"We loved that the property was close to town but very quiet. There’s a wonderful view of the mountains from the second floor wrap around porch. It’s a quaint establishment with some history. We enjoyed two outstanding breakfasts. Paul is a gracious, friendly and knowledgeable host. "

"This is a great little old style motel. The family that runs it has owned it since the 50's. They have done very well keeping it updated and clean. We absolutely loved staying here again. I just wish it was a few miles closer to WCU. "
"Clean room friendly check in. However, if I had not had my top lock locked someone could have walked in my room around 10 p.m . I heard the doorknob open and the top lock stopped any one from coming in."

"This was a lovely place to stay while we were in town for a family reunion! It had all the amenities to be comfortable and was super clean and maintained! The owner was also very helpful and quick to respond. One of my favorite parts was sitting on the porch in the evening and watching various wildlife and looking at mountains. There was a cute groundhog that we got to watch in length, plus some bunnies, field mouse, and Barn Swallows. "
"Wonderfully light, clean, and comfortable place to stay while we worked in the area. Peaceful view over the golf course. Yes the road is single-lane, but we never encountered another vehicle the entire week of coming and going. Carly is a great host, and we hope there is availability when we work up there next year!"
