Friendly and clean hotel only 5 minutes walk from Charles Bridge. We had a lovely room on ground floor with arched brick ceiling. Room wasn't the biggest but that did not ruin our stay. Loved the hotel and Prague.

The staff were warm and friendly. The room was nice and warm with a great terrace access and view of malostrana. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay in the Hotel U Pava. The room we were allocated was upgraded to a suite on the 3rd floor with views out into the small square in front of the hotel. The public areas are small but warm and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. The property is situated on the west side of the Charles bridge but with 15 minutes walk of the main square etc. so benefits from being slightly quieter but no less picturesque.

Perfect and The Staff are Stars!
The hotel was amazing. The real stars sign at the front counter - nothing was too much trouble. They worked hard to make sure that our stay was a great one. Highly recommend. If you need a lift, make sure you ask for a room with access to the lifts! Thanks for a great stay.

Charming boutique hotel in a great location with nicely decorated rooms. We loved our views. Staff was absolutely amazing and helpful. Breakfast was very nice as well with homemade delicious spreads. Yum! We will be back.

Not friendly staff, breakfast food was plain. Bed was stiff but location is ok. They don’t have parking and street parking is limited (if you are lucky to make it). You’d have to park within 0.5 km though

Property owners were very attentive to our needs. They accommodated our arrival time and checkin and arranged for a taxi to the train station the next day. And the breakfast was lovely with excellent service.

This hotel is a gem. It's like having a home in Prague that is from an earlier time. My room was comfortable and stood out compared to today' s usual hotels. I'll definitely stay here whenever I visit Prague.

Brilliant location. Staff nice. Breakfast great. Aircon and wifi worked well. Rooms can be on the small side. The shower was a hand held telephone over a bath and wasn’t great. Not many power outlets in room. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Charming property in great walkable location. No amenities or elevator, good breakfast included, very dated room furnishings & only hand held shower. Beautiful views of castle & gardens with peacocks. Friendly staff.

Wonderful experience
What a wonderful hotel. The room was lovely and the breakfast was delicious. The staff at the front desk was always warm, welcoming, friendly and very professional. A pleasure to stay there and will definitely stay there anytime we visit Prague.

Almost perfect
Beautiful old hotel, with incredible original architecture, but comfortable, modern beds. Breakfast was rather limited, but tasty, and breakfast room staff were lovely. Unfortunately, the bathtub shower didn't have a curtain and only had a very small portion of glass door so the floor was covered in water after every shower. Location cannot get better as it's a short walk to the Charles Bridge, but on a more quiet street.

A gem in Prague
Our stay at U Pava in late November was excellent in every respect. Super-helpful staff - especially Jana, who provided great assistance in dealing with COVID testing. Very clean, lots of character, quiet area, fantastic location about 3 minutes from Charles Bridge. The breakfast is extensive and good. Our room had a view of the Prague Castle, which was magical. 100% recommended.

A great base for a long weekend
Hotel is awesome and the interior of the hotel and our luxury room is truly beautiful. No plain looking room but as we wanted authentic decor. Service from the staff was very good and we would recommend the taxi service they offer to the airport. Breakfast is very good with lots of choice and the location is nothing short of perfect. We were there so we could go to a concert which got postponed but on the positive we have a good excuse to come back to this great hotel. Very recommended and surprisingly good value.

Great stay!
Very happy with our two-night stay! Staff are all friendly and helpful, room is clean, breakfast is tasty and good enough variety. We needed to leave hotel to catch the bus to CK before their regular breakfast time, they had the breakfast ready for us and helped us pack the food. The location is superb! You can see the Charles Bridge just outside the hotel. Few minutes from the metro station that can take you to and from the airport, tram stations can take you to other parts of the city such as to the bus station to CK. Most of the attractions are within walking distance.

The location was fantastic, right beside Charles bridge . We went around all the side streets and saw a new side of Prague which was off the beaten track. We were also right beside the river so we also did a boat trip . The hotel decor is just amazing as the desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel with limited parking
Hotel is located almost at the footsteps of Charles Bridge which is amazing. A bit outdated - heavy keys to the rooms and no parking! If you plan to visit Prague by car and stay in this hotel, inform them in advance as they have only 3 places available and one of them is taken by the owner!!! This was a minus of this hotel.

Unfortunately, parking spaces in the historical center of Prague are very limited. We can't have more than 3. The fact that one place is for hotel owners is misinformation. All parking spaces are for clients.

Beautiful Hotel, Safe and In a Great Location
The Hotel U Pava is a gem. It's very charming, beautifully unique and clean. It's close to many restaurants, bars, Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge, but far enough so that you can have a peaceful and quite stay. The staff was amazing! They were always friendly and accommodating to our changing needs. They were even able to book a day tour for us (after the tour I booked was canceled). The free breakfast buffet was a great way to start our day and was always fresh. We will definitely be back!

The hotel u Páva was a nice place to stay, and convenient to walk everywhere! The room was really neat and had a comfortable bed. One thing worth mentioning is that the support staff (not the front desk staff) lacked the congenial demeanor one usually comes across in hotels. At breakfast one morning one of the staff ladies caused a scene, just shy of yelling, because my husband put the tongs on a plate outside the food, instead of inside the buffet container. She even went and got the front desk staff to continue her upset rant...

A gem of a hotel.
Lovely hotel with a perfect location. Near the Charles bridge but out of the crowds so it was quiet. It was extremely clean and very comfortable. The view from our window was a breathtaking panorama of the castle. My only negative wasn't from the hotel itself, but the driver that the hotel had arranged to pick us up. He was frighteningly angry and agressive with us and in his driving.

This was a wonderful hotel – the location was perfect. The staff was so gracious and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious! Really all you can ask for in a hotel stay.
