Was in a good position to visit the Caves snd Castle. Clean, staff friendly.

Breakfast came with the room.

What a beautiful hotel, centrally located to the old town and hotel staff were amazing. Hotel room was well appointed and a soothing fragrance permeated through the building. Breakfast was delicious.

A lovely modern hotel with a fresh, clean and environmentally positive approach. Our room was spacious, spotless and well equipped- so nice to have a kettle. The toiletry products were very nice. The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet. Staff were very friendly and hospitable . A great place to stay.

We had a great stay for 6 nights in a twin room. Staff and service were excellent, free parking and close to big shopping centre called Supernova. The breakfast was great for my Mum but as I am vegan, the options were a bit limited. 24 hr reception desk was a good feature too!

Great relaxed location beyond the CBD and close to motorway.

Excellent location - walking distance to Old Town and added bonus most Day Tours pick up at the City Hotel. Rooms somewhat small, were clean and good facilities, including a refrigerator. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast very extensive and well presented. In house bar menu, while not extensive, the food was excellent and good value, especially if you needed a break from going out to local restaurants. Overall excellent hotel and good value for money.

I found the hotel well maintained. It was in an excellent location in Lubianjia, close to the river & shops. I enjoyed the breakfasts. The staff were helpful & friendly. Howrvet, I did not get my Expedia VIP access perks on both occasions. This was disappointing.

Amazing place of tranquility. What you see online is what you get. (Unlike other hotels who put up nice pictures and deliver something else) if you want to chill out this is the place for you. Look mo further BOOK NOW!

Staff were fantastic and very friendly. The gym was well set up, rooms are large and have everything you need. The bar has a beautiful view from the rooftop as well so a great spot for a drink

The staff are just fantastic, the rooms splendid and the meals outstanding. One of the best we have stayed at in the world and we have stayed at The Savoy, The Ritz etc.

The location, amenities, staff & quality of the DoubleTree were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble & the meals & drinks available were outstanding. Would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is very centrally located, beautifully maintained and the staff are excellent. The rooms are large and well maintained. The breakfast is very comprehensive. The hotel is located right at the old town centre with great access to shopping and a range of restaurants. It is also not far from the main train station. If arriving by train either walk to the hotel or get them to get you a cab to pick you up. Their cost around 5 euros, cab at the station 25 euros.
