The place itself is very well located, but the bunkers are not very solid and are made from light wood (I was on the top one and all night waking up because every time the guest underneath me moved, the whole bed moved too). "The customer service was amazing! The doorman Jay was very friendly and greeted us daily as well as recommending wonderful locations nearby. The pool is pretty big considering other hotel pools nearby, the location is super convenient and safe. The uber pick up area was very convenient and at night there is a market nearby where they sell various goods. I would definitely come back again."

"Basic rooms, but clean and for the most part comfortable. My only complaint was that there was no apparent way to turn off the air conditioner so the room was too cold for my liking. The staff was friendly and helpful, and some of them spoke English. The hotel is in an excellent location, situated just a few minutes walk from either Ipanema Beach or Copacabana Beach. Surrounded by plenty of nice restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and shopping. The breakfast was stellar! Literally everything you could think of and all fresh. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something affordable, and you can’t beat the location! "

Breakfast alone justified the stay.
24 hour corner store just a few steps away. Full grocery store a few more steps away. & then of course the beach a few more steps away.
