"Great staff, Great location"

"I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it is important to share this experience for other travelers. During our stay, a personal item (portable charger) went missing from our room. Only hotel staff had access (housekeeping and minibar service). We reported this immediately, but received no meaningful response or follow-up from the front desk or management. In addition, we experienced serious cleanliness concerns. There was visible mold in the room, and the bed sheets provided were not clean. Even a member of housekeeping acknowledged this, took photos, and confirmed the sheets were dirty. Despite reporting these issues, the front desk staff — specifically Claudette and Thays — repeatedly refused to assist, escalate the situation, or provide any resolution. At checkout, there was still no accountability, no apology, and no effort to make the situation right. Instead, we were asked to pay for minor items from the minibar, despite the unresolved issues during our stay. This experience was disappointing not only because of the issues themselves, but because of the complete lack of customer care and responsibility shown by staff. I hope management takes this seriously and improves both cleanliness standards and guest support moving forward."

"Staff I would say is the most valuable asset of this place, shout out to Mr. Guillherme, the Tour Concierge, he was always so eager to assist us always with a great smile and we felt he went above and beyond with his service. "

"The property is in a great location. One block away from the beach. It was really safe. I was a solo traveller and walked around comfortably. The rooms were super clean and well taken care of. There are a lot restaurants, shops, and places for nightlife around the area. It was so easy to meet new people and the hostel has so many activities and also tours that you can book directly from them. The check-in process was super easy and there is a WhatsApp group to keep up to date with activities or get into contact with other travellers staying there. The real MVP here are the staff and volunteers that work very hard, are super outgoing and friendly, and that make sure you’re well taken care of. I found my home away from home. Shout out to Marcela, Rodrigo, Eduardo, Cristal, Eric, Juanjo, Cristal, Jordana, Tiago, Gabriel, Maude, Laura, Youss, and everyone else on the team. You guys have an amazing team. I hope that when I visit again, you’re all still there. I will always welcome seeing your friendly faces. "

"There was a huge coachorage in my bathroom and after I hardly killed that oneand couldn’t sleep I saw another one next day. I asked them to change my room and they said they can’t and they don’t have any room. After I insisted so hard they accepted and all of a suddeb there was another room. I know there are coachorages hidden behind bathroom doors wooden pieces, so if you get that kind of room where there is space they can hide you will most likely sleep with one and even see it and scream like I did. God they are huge!!!"
