"I’ve stayed here at least 4 times. It has a pool, a gym, it’s dog friendly and there’s a bar right next door. The bar has a limited menu,: wings, fish and chips, small stuff. It’s also very close to the Indiana Dunes. Great, fair priced overnight spot."

"The hotel isn't in the nicest area, there are several ran down motels, bars, and liquor stores very close by. It does look nice in the lobby area. Our room was actually pretty nice, until we saw the bathroom. The wall above the toilet had a huge black stain on it...either mildew or black mold. The bathroom vent is extremely dirty. "We had a great stay at the Funky Turtle. The house was clean and just enough space for my family of 5. The house is close to campground bathrooms if the occasional extra bathroom is needed. We enjoyed the fire pit, use of the grill, and sitting on the porch. Our only complaint is about the noise but it was clear from the map that the campground was located near an interstate. "My friends and I were blown away by the stunning cabin. The property is tucked away and super private, surrounded by trees (including a huge, beautiful willow tree). Perfect scenery to enjoy and take photos! The inside was perfect for a group of friends or a family. Kitchen had all the necessities to prepare a meal, and the beds were shockingly comfortable and high quality (everyone raved about what an amazing night sleep they got). Plenty of bathrooms is a huge plus for a girls trip as well!...
