"This was a beautiful old building with friendly staff and a great on site restaurant. We had a great stay! If you love history and old buildings then you'll love it! If you want modern then this is not the right place for you. The room was updated and the bed was comfortable. "
"Clean, convenient parking, not noisy. Rooms themselves are a bit worn down, but nothing terrible, pretty fair for the cheap price. Really nice that the rooms have kitchenettes, especially a decently-sized fridge.
Mountlake Terrace transit centre is nearby, has free daily parking (or you can walk to it), makes it easy to get into downtown Seattle, the stadiums, or the airport, all via the Link light rail.
Would consider staying here again the next time I'm in Seattle for a concert. "
"This is a beautiful property right on the water. We enjoyed a leisurely stroll on the beach after dinner and it was very nice. We saw a lot of different shells. The room was great and had a resort fill to it. "
"This was a great place to stay while exploring Olympic National Park. I would absolutely come back again.
Good:
The breakfast in the morning was legit and had something for everyone. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy. And it was not far from a great restaurant (Midtown Public House in Port Angeles) that we went to twice during our 2-day stay.
Areas for Improvement:
It did get crowded in the breakfast area and felt like Tetris for a bit. Also, there was a little mold in the bathroom on the shower grout. "
"The staff was nice. There was no one at the counter to check out, just a note to leave the keys on counter which is not wise. Area was sketchy and hard to find hotel. Outside was very ran down. Inside was ok. Continental breakfast was cereal, out meal and toast! I would have preferred to pay more and stay somewhere nicer. "
