"The location of this home as well as the home itself is more than perfect for enjoying Port Austin and the surrounding area. The host just needs to be a bit more aware of securing her personal belongings so the home is more "welcoming" to those renting it for their vacation. Overall, though, it was a great weekend."

"We visited with 5 families and the property was the perfect fit for our needs. It was very clean and the amenities are endless. There is so much room both inside and outside, a spacious commercial kitchen to prepare food, plenty of fridge space, grills outside, a fire pit and plenty of TV's for your family to watch football. ;) Our adult kids enjoyed the basketball, pickle ball and volleyball courts in addition to the kayaks. "We stayed here to run the Thumb Coast Ultra and Relay. It was comfortable, clean, and the location was excellent. The pictures don’t do it justice! Checking in and out couldn’t have been easier. You’re minutes from Caseville (gas, groceries, restaurants), right on the beach. "We loved the location and the rental property. The cabin had everything we needed. Our only complaint was it didn't have comfortable seating inside. We're 64 & 65 years old and would have preferred recliner chairs or another couch so we could both lay down and stretch out at the end of a long day of shopping, hiking and kayaking. We had beautiful weather our entire stay. Thank you so much!!"

"My family and I had a blast at this place, only thing we had a problem with was there was no salt or pepper, we couldn’t use the closets for our clothes and we were not expecting the sulfur smell from the water. Other than that it was amazing!"

"Great location on a quiet street, within walking distance of almost everything. We stayed the weekend for a family wedding and it slept 9 of us comfortably and was a great lay out for all of us. Port Austin Retreat!
"Let me first start out by saying I work outside all day, the beach is usually not my go to vacation but my family loves it so I gave in! We seriously did not have one complaint whatsoever! It was perfect! -Ac worked great -Appliances very up today and “fancy”. I couldn’t figure out how the microwaves even opened.lol. -Bed/Couches comfy -Tons of games,markers,toy for the kids -Private clean beach -fire pit on the beach with more than enough wood -outdoor deck is very well shaded by trees so even on hot days it’s probably great up there -The house has everything! We cooked big meals/bbq all weekend and there wasn’t anything we needed they didn’t have -5 minutes away from downtown port Austin Truly a great experience! The owners are extremely responsive and very nice! (hard to find in some places) Only thing I’d say I wish was different there was if I actually owned it myself! Highly recommend!"
