Fantastic location for shops, cafes etc. room was comfortable and spacious. Check in and out was a breeze. Despite central location the room was quiet and had good nights sleep. Highly recommend this property if staying in Port Douglas.

My husband and I recently stayed for 6 nights, Jo and Gary were very helpful and pleasant. They accommodated an early check in and a late check out as we had to wait for our ride to the airport. The room was very comfortable and spacious having everything you need for a home away from home. Everything in Port Douglas was only a short walk away. Thank you Gary and Jo for making our stay comfortable. We will definitely stay again.

Lovely pool. Situated in the centre of Port Douglas close to all the main facilities. Bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with crockery etc Wi-fi was very good and the balcony overlooking the pool was also pleasant.

Wonderful stay. Beautifully furnished suite, clean & well equipped kitchenette, comfy bed and very helpful people running the place. Located on the main street in Port Douglas, making it an easy walk to everything we needed.

This was one of the nicest and cleanest rooms and establishment I have ever stayed in. The owners were also fabulous and so helpful. The hotel was right on the main st near the supermarket and eateries. We will be back for sure

The property is super convenient, located on the main street close to shopping, Coles, eateries and a short walk to the beach. The unit I stayed in was clean and nicely furnished; overlooked the pool but foliage provided privacy for breakfast on the balcony.The pool isn't big but it's there should you need to exercise or relax poolside. The kitchen had what I needed for self-catering and the soap, shampoo and conditioner were of good quality. It was relaxing and I had a great stay.

Room was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Macrossan House was right in the main street - easy access to everything. Walk to both beaches, walk to marina and cruises. Absolutely wonderful and beautiful place to stay. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again!

A lovely aparthotel run by a lovely couple who recommended local restaurants and was able to book excursions for me. I would absolutely return to the Macrossan if staying in Port Douglas again.

Our stay was excellent couldn’t fault the room so clean and cool had a balcony which was shaded by palms lovely outlook. The unit had everything you needed in it, which I was very surprised. Would highly recommend Macrossan house we will be back

Great location

We really enjoyed staying here! The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The location was great - right in the center of town but only a short walk to the beach. And even though it was in the center of town, it was very quiet! Gary and Jo were great and we appreciated the airport pickup and drop off. We were also able to do laundry on the property.

This was perfect for our 5 day stay. The hosts were wonderful and gave us great advice on which tours to go on. Bars, restaurants, supermarkets and great shopping all within walking distance….would definitely recommend Macrossan House.
