Sehr schön gelegene Unterkunft in idyllischer Umgebung. Großer Pool und freundliche Gastgeber.
Several problems. No WiFi. Terrible shower in bath. Black gunk came out of the water massage machine. Breakfast started 30 minutes late. Dinner small portions and expensive. Pool had gone green. It is a beautiful spot but not very well run. Staff pleasant.
It was a Fantastic 1 night stay. Though we arrived late, the check in was quick. Everything were clean, Fresh and Tidy. Breakfast was really good and very typical with lots of options especially the sweets. The view from the Breakfast room was amazing and as well driving through from the hotel back to the Centro. It was a great Farm to Table experience.
The entire complex is amazing, nestled into the hills above Florence. The rooms are large enough to play tennis in (not that we did) and the beds are huge, too! The breakfast was great as well, with a wide range of foods to cater to any taste or nationality. With a pool and suoerbyand helpful staff, I'd recommend this place to anyone. Amazing for the price!
Amazing! Sabrina and her staff are super nice. The food was delicious, the place was very comfortable , the site is breathtaking, the pool is huge and refreshing. Lots of lounge chairs to relax near the pool or in the orchards. Wish we could go back!
We could not have been more happy with this charming find. Stunning views, the staff was extremely friendly, we were very happy with the wine selection and the onsite restaurant was remarkably authentic and delicious.
Sabrina, Itka and the rest of the staff were the most wonderful people we ever met! They were very helpful and provided everything that we needed when we asked.
Naturally we felt a little lost being in a new place for the first time, but they were able to provide us with maps, and helped us find places that were popular to the locals.
The room was very cozy and had all of the necessities.
Finding out about the history of Casali del Trebbiolo and the surrounding area was very thrilling.
The view was breathtaking and the colazione (breakfast) each morning was delicious. We also had opportunities to eat their fine homemade food for dinner several nights. This included sampling the house made wine as well. Everything was delicious.
We would 100% recommend anyone to stay here to get a true feeling of Tuscany. It was close to Fiesole, where you can catch a bus to Florence.
We will be coming back! Ciao!
I'm certain that by the end of our 4 week holiday this place will have been our greatest find. Amazing value for money, rustic, Italian, incredible views of the valley and just 30 mins over the hill from Florence.
You'll need a car of course and be sure to use google maps. It will take a little work getting there so be patient, it's worth it.
Our room was beautiful and massive, maybe 50 square metres (superior double). We had views from our windows and balcony overlooking the valley. The other rooms seem as though they'd be nice as well.
There is no wifi in the room, only up at the main building. This was our only inconvenience. The hotel seems to be full of locals so I guess they don't need wifi.
The staff are lovely, but by us not speaking Italian I think we missed out on some of the finer service.
We loved having our windows open for fresh air but suffered from the mosquitoes. Maybe bring some repellent.
We truly couldn't believe how lucky we got in finding this place.
This 14th century villa/hotel is a relaxing counter to the busy Florence. The rooms are nice and basic with TV. We stayed in the "old stables" - the high ceiling room with the bed on a build mezzanine, not in the main house. The owner/chef Sabrina and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread is good, but dinner is excellent. This is not a place for entertainment, partying or if you expect room service, but it is for people who appreciate nature and rural surrounding.
We stayed for 4 nights in June and it was a magical place complemented by Tuscan wine and food.
The restaurant also hosts weddings and festivities, when the place can get busy.
A nice surprise, after we just booked it based on one expedia review at the time.
LATI POSITIVI: colazione ottima, variegata e costantemente riforrnita. Piscina ampia.Tanto spazio verde intorno. Camera e bagno ampie.
Perfect loaction in a beautiful landscape.
If you have seen Tuscany on TV or in a Movie... all this is true :-).
The hotel is very quite and relaxing. The rooms are in a typical tuscany style and are located in small houses around a traditional country house.
We stayed for one night in a standard double room at this lovely place. Friendly staff, fantastic hostess and beautiful surroundings. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant with delicious local food and reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit for one or several nights.
We booked this hotel for a couple of nights as passing through Florence. Getting to the hotel with Satnav was a little confusing however after taking a few wrong turns we stumbled up on the hotel at the top of a beautiful mountain. What looks to be an old farm, has been beautifully transformed into an hotel with astounding views. We had a room over looking the valley. The room was rustic but had all the modern features. This included a fridge, safe, air conditioning, tv, spar bath and rainfall shower. Being able to open the curtains and look at breath taking views was an added bonus. Walking through the grounds we saw many fruit trees which lead to a outside pool, which was unexpectedly warm. We ate in the restaurant at night which had delicious food and drink over looking the views.
This seems to be a very authentic agritourisimo, in that the rooms are basic (if you have a standard room) but have an aura of being built at a high level. It is remote. I'm sure that the rooms in the main building are very elegant and give you some sense of pampering (plus an appreciation for the history of the place), but we were in a more distant building and had lots of privacy and views of nature. The rooms are clean and well furnished. You must have a car. I would definitely return.
