We arrived a little early by bike (before check-in time), and they were very welcoming and brought us refreshments while we enjoyed the lovely patio and pool area. "The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood about a 10-minute walk from the shopping and dining district of "new" Avignon (across the river from the "old" walled city). Beautiful grounds and courtyard, peaceful setting, very helpful staff, and a diverse group of guests.Get a room with a balcony facing the courtyard/gardens if you can! It's not as convenient to the walled city but we had a car and drove to the walled city and surrounding cities with relative ease. The hotel was a peaceful respite at the end of a long day of sight seeing. Thumbs up!"
