The villa had aircon and roll down blinds which were brilliant in the 35-36c heat of August. "Rustic rather than luxurious, great as a base. Pool was good and terrace nice to sit on for dinner, decent sized rooms, kitchen was adequate but could have done with a built in oven as we were unable to BBQ due to regional ban on fires. The toilet didn’t have a basin so had to walk to bathroom to wash hands, shower tiles were cracked and needed some work. On a beaucoup aimé la région propice à de nombreuses activités de plein air (canoë, VTT, rando, …). Et à proximité des sites culturels de la région (Orgnac-l’Aven grotte et site préhistorique). "We (2 families: 4 adults; 4 children) had a great time at this property! Its location is quite remote (the property is in the village of Malataverne), very close to Lussan; and situated on the side of a hill - access is down a narrow bumpy lane (which will be a challenge for cars with low clearance). And there are quite a few steps to the property itself - i would say the property is not ideal for young children (under ~8 years) or people over ~65 years. The property can be described as "quirky"...

"The home is modern and out in a country setting away from the crowds but close enough to so many beautiful small villages only minutes away. Mme Paquette is friendly and available but gives you privacy. No doubt the photo of the pool is very accurate and center piece of the vacation, you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy….we did!"

"The property owner is incredibly kind, generous and welcoming. The house is located in a calm and quiet part of Beaucaire, yet short walking distance from any necessary shopping. In the main living-room of the house, there's ample space with a well-adapted area for remote-working. "The Mas d'Azur is very well situated within walking distance of the town centre. It has a lot of character and a very good swimming pool. Our house had a large terrace perfect for meals and relaxation. The inside is spacious and well furnished. The owner Francoise Fontanille is very welcoming and looks after her guests in a friendly manner.
