Modern Mountain Retreat - Welcome to Pine Ridge!
With three queen bedrooms and two baths, this 1600 sf vacation rental is ideal for those looking for a mountain getaway with all the modern comforts of home. The house sits on a quiet 2 acres within 2 miles and easy access to HWY 50, and three miles to a 24-hour Safeway grocery store and restaurants. There are 2 covered parking spaces under the deck and room for additional cars. Close to Sly Park, Apple Hill, Placerville, local wineries, 45 mins to Sierra Ski and 1 hr to South Lake Tahoe.
The space
OUTDOOR LIVING: Have your morning coffee or evening glass of wine on the furnished front deck.
KITCHEN: Fully equipped for cooking, baking and service for 8. Appliances include a new refrigerator with in-door ice and filtered water. There is a dishwasher, air fryer, Instant Pot/slow cooker, and a beverage bar with coffee maker and wine fridge. Seating for six at the dining table plus three at the kitchen bar.
INTERIOR LIVING: The living room has a comfortable sofa, a 70” flat-screen TV with sound bar, Roku streaming device (with Netflix, Disney+, YouTube TV, HBO), and high speed internet. Board and card games, puzzles and books available for use. In the winter, use the wood-burning stove and portable air conditioners for the summer months if needed.
BEDROOMS: Three bedrooms with queen beds sleep six comfortably on new memory foam mattresses. All rooms have ceiling fans. The primary bedroom has a TV.
UTILITY: Washer and dryer, first aid kit, fire extinguishers
PARKING: Driveway (6+ vehicles), carport (2 vehicles), garage not available, RV parking
Winter: During winter, chains or 4x4/ AWD are highly recommended for all vehicles. Be prepared for winter road conditions from November - March, check with Caltrans for road updates.

Other things to note
To limit fire danger, no outdoor fire pits are allowed. Please also do not smoke anywhere on the property.
Please supervise small children as there are stairs around the property and elevated decks.

Amazing comfortable beauty
We (3 friends) had a wonderful cozy get away! The location is very private with beautiful mature trees and woods around the property! Nice deck to grill & eat out on and/or just enjoy the view or stars at night!!
Inside the house was immaculately cleaned and very up-to-date stylish decorations with comfortable furniture! The beds and bedding and towels were luxurious, and so comfortable! The kitchen was extremely well furnished for cooking, including a large spice selection! The instructions and QR codes for various things around the house was very helpful! The fireplace was so cozy to have in the evenings and mornings! The whole place was so restful and calming!!
We also enjoyed going to Apple Hill, which was only 15 minutes away. We also enjoyed the vibrant fall colors & serenity at the nearby Forebay lake- they have picnic tables and bathrooms. And even though you feel like you’re in the middle of a serene forest, far far away from the busy world, there is a Safeway grocery store in town only a few minutes away. Also, the burger barn in town has awesome burgers!
Communication with the owners was quick and very helpful! We all want to come back!!

Excellent Property and Home
We had a wonderful stay here. The owners left great instructions and the communication prior to arrival were super clear. The home is in a good location and we enjoyed the back porch almost every night. The home was also very clean. We would stay there again.

Beautiful kitchen
Impressive, new appliances, big kitchen table with a bay window nearby very inviting. The living room couches were large and comfy and great for watching the big screen TV. using the keypad entry system was very easy. Everything is very clean and nicely appointed. The house is located at the end of a long and narrow road. I think it might be hard to find in the dark your first time there so try to check in before sunset.

Very Clean - Nice spot to stay for Apple Hill
The house was very clean, well organized, and stocked with everything we needed to cook for the weekend. The only downfall was the listing did not mention or show the occupied second house/modular right behind the rental on the property so that was a bit of a surprise when we arrived. Also, we were unable to close the blinds in the bedrooms that faced the back house because of the window air conditioning units.

Beautiful and Peaceful Home
The reason for our family stay was to attend the funeral of our father/grandfather. This home and its location provided a calm and healing place for family to rest and revive between activities. It meant the world to us to feel at home, away from home.
Such amazing and responsive hosts. We didn't have any issues but had all contact info and felt very welcome to contact them if needed. Thank you so very much for sharing your home.

Beautiful, Quiet & Spacious!
The only two caveats to this house is the the road is tricky the first time you take it (but more than a day and you'll become a pro), and you'll need mosquito spray in the summer. We sat outside with the lights off and watched the stars with a glass of wine one night! The beds are cozy and there is plenty of room for 4-6 people comfortably. Also: Make time to play the electronic game board! :) Can't wait to go back!
