"We (family of two adults and 2 children) visited on a March weekend, which is the off season. The Packers restaurant wasn’t open, so we ate at the Seaview Cafe, although you could go to the Great Blue Heron Grill restaurant at the golf course. The cafe food was decent, and fine for breakfast, but we would have preferred a different feel for dinner. We stayed in a premium water view room with balcony, which was refurbished recently enough, and not too small for a short stay. The views were great. The beds were comfortable, although I am not a fan of such soft pillows. We enjoyed the pool, free bikes, and evening fire pits with complimentary smores. Fun to walk along the beach and see the beautiful sunsets. Overall a relaxing and fun stay. We wish there were more suite options with proper separate bedrooms, and a different feel for evening dining given all meals were in the same cafe with same all day menu."

"Beautiful location!!! We stayed here on a trip for our daughters state gymnastics competition and couldnt have been happier! Beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked, and was plenty of room for 4 adults, 2 kids, and our boxer dog. The scenery out the front windows was the best part. We all watched the ducks, bald eagles, a herons every morning and even got to spot a golden eagle. Also an easy walk to local eateries! Perfect vacation spot and not all touristy(at least when we visited in march)"

"The room and bed was clean. But the owners dog pooped in the shower one night and peed on the bathroom rug the next. It would also be nice if it mentioned the bathroom and shower was inside of the main house, not in the cabin. "

"Room was clean and neat. I like the little kitchen with fridge and induction stove. Toilet and bath was clean. Staff is accommodating. Would love to come back in the future with family & friends. Location is perfect, i love the body of water overlooking from my window. Blaine is a nice little town and people are very friendly. 👍👍"

"Beautiful Property Marred by Poor Management and Privacy IssuesWhile the house itself is well-appointed, stocked and provided good space for families, our two-night stay for four families was unfortunately defined by significant disruptions.On our first morning, we were woken at 7:00 AM by six hours of loud leaf blowing and yard work. This was a major privacy concern; strangers were working within feet of our children, making it impossible to use the hot tub or the yard we paid for. Despite six hours of attempts to contact VRBO/Management, we received zero support or resolution.The following morning, a power outage left us in a cold home with cold showers and no backup power. While the local Vacasa manager finally reached out to coordinate an early checkout, the lack of a winter contingency plan (like a generator) was concerning. We wanted to love this stay, but the lack of communication and disregard for guest privacy during maintenance made it a disappointing experience. No one should have strangers roam around your family's personal space during a vacation. Privacy means a lot in vacation homes. Scheduling maintenance works while the house is occupied for guests is not at all the right thing to do."
