Wabamun Lakefront Getaway with additional Family Suite

8/10 Good
"We were a group of 14 and it was a perfect spot. Lake front, with multiple living areas so we all had our own spaces and didn't feel crammed at all. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, the outdoor seating areas, the use of the water toys. Collette, the host, was very responsive to our needs and questions. The house itself needs a few maintenance type stuff, and a deep clean, but overall the space was great and everything was in working condition."

Romantic Family Lake front Cabin getaway 45 min W of Edmonton. 5 star cabin.

Romantic Family Lake front Cabin getaway 45 min W of Edmonton. 5 star cabin.

10/10 Excellent
"The house and lake were incredible. No regrets staying at this property. I would 100% stay there again. I had attempted to contact the property manager via the app messenger a week before then again a day before to see if I could have a early check-in but never heard back. I also wasn't prepared for the lengthy list in the arrival instructions email a day before arrival noting that there is an extra cost of 250 to use the hot tub and a laundry list of other details all with an additional cost attached which throughly worried me had I been staying there longer than 2 nights, because they are on a spetic system and if they need more water hauled in our the septic pump out there was more potential charges. We managed to leave without any additional charges, but we were only 2 girls for 2 nights - not sure how a large family with kids staying for a long period of time would fair. Also, not the fault of the owners but AHS has a warning for 2026 that Isle Lake does have a Blue-Green Algae. The dock is long and if you swim off the end you can avoid most contact, however there isn't a ladder, so trying to get out without walking through it is impossible."
