"The resort was better than expected! Food was excellent & room was very nice. Enjoyed the snorkeling & fishing excursions right from the beach. Caught a dozen red snapper on the 2-3 hour fishing trip & took a couple to Chef Aldo who prepared them especially for our family for dinner that night. Best meal we’ve ever eaten!"

"My wife and I booked this trip for our son and his new bride for their honeymoon. They had a great trip and loved the resort. The said the staff treated them exceptionally well. Loved the food and accommodations. They went on three excursions; sunset cruise, volcano hike and jungle adventure. Loved all three. The resort quiet, peaceful and relaxing."

"It is a beautiful property and we loved our stay there. The pool and hot tub were a fabulous way to relax each evening. And the view was amazing.To get the fabulous view, requires a VERY steep road up the mountain and a VERY steep driveway - both were a little scary to navigate each time we left the house. Our rental van was a trooper, but were were worried that we would be getting out and pushing every time.And while the house was amazing - it is also a little dated and needs some major upgrades. The oven only heats to 250 deg. Not all of the stove tops actually heat up. It's hard to find an outlet - and once you do, there is no fast charging going on. One of the showers was broken for most of our trip - it took 5 days (out of 7) before Zindis was able to get a compatible part and fix it. The main room AC only cools to 80 deg. The bedrooms all had individual unites, which did work great! And the bugs! Beetles, ants, moths, giant flying creepers - even a scorpion all found their way in the house. I would have liked to open the windows and doors in the evenings to help cool down - but the bugs would have invaded. Never leave doors or windows open and never walk anywhere without shoes.Most of this is just the nature of life in Costa Rico - so with appropriate expectation management - I still give it 5 stars."
