It is very confusing to navigate into what's included and what is not included in this "all inclusive" resort where every little upgrade for food item is extra (if you want your dinner with meat or seafood, be prepared to pay very high pricing. Not a great feeling after paying over 400 per night for the resort)."

"The Sanctuary was spectacular. The property is beautifully designed and exceptionally well-built for a truly luxurious stay. The staff was highly attentive, the rooms were incredibly comfortable, and every detail of the design felt thoughtful and intentional, elevating the entire experience. The food was exceptional, and the pools were wonderful. I would highly recommend the all-inclusive package, and we will definitely be coming back. Oh, and Lynn was exceptional. Helped so much!"

"ive been coming here for many many years and you cant beat the location and price. We love the small size of the resort and it has everything you need. The last 3 times we came we had to switch rooms due to mildew smell and visible mold in some rooms on the walls and ceiling. This past trip we tried to get switch due to the mildew smell and had to wait til the next day. it was almost impossible to sleep. If you get lucky with a more updated room without the mildew smell its great. if not it can ruin your whole trip!"

"The resort staff was great, very friendly and helpful. As others have mentioned, there is a musty smell in some of the rooms. We got two rooms and one had a musty smell and the other didn't, once it aired out and we ran the A/C it was a lot better and didn't bother us. As for the shade over the pools until after 11am. I'm not sure why anyone would complain about that. It's so hot that the shade is a welcome relief when you first get it the pool in the morning, especially if you're already sunburnt like we were after the first day haha. Now on to the kids activities. I have two kids, ages 4 and 2. They obviously loved the pool, but they also really enjoyed the kids corner. It was probably better for my 4yr old, because he could do more of the activities that they had throughout the day, but my 2yr old really liked it there as well. One thing I think they could do better at is a more inclusive kids menu at the restaurants, it was nice that they catered to adults and made it fancy and special, but I felt my kids were left out a bit when it came to options for them. That's my only real complaint, otherwise we had a great time and would definitely recommend this resort to other families!"

"We had an amazing stay at Patio Azul! The pool and spa were awesome! Everything we wanted to do was a quick ride away from the hotel. The room(Agave) was awesome and the views were amazing! If you can get that room you will love waking up to the ocean everyday! The hotel is a quiet place perfect for relaxing! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Stay here if you can!"
