Hotel is nice with helpful staff. Parking is available but a bit tight. Pirmasens has pretty limited dining options, but most services are available.

Exceptional staff that is kept busy throughout the week. Property is centrally located and easily accessible at all times of the day. The night desk manager was always on top of things. Breakfast buffett and facility cleanliness top notch.

Booked room for 3, and was given a two bedroom suite, which was excellent. Breakfast good - but not free as advertised ! Only issue was the reception. It was supposed to be open until 8pm, but had shut when we arrived at 7.30pm. So couldn't get a drink to relax. We obtained room keys from a key-safe

Location, Location, Location. Pirmasens is a hidden jewel mixing new and old Germany. A lively town that seems to have ongoing summer festivities every day, not just on weekends. The hotel is with a short walk of shopping, dining, and entertainment. The only drawbacks were the lack of A/C (record breaking heat wave during my stay) and a tended bar (would have been great to go downstairs for a cold draft beer on those hot nights. The staff are attentive and the facilities are well maintained. Get ready for Euro size parking. I will choose this hotel again.

Overall service was great and premises were very clean. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. We were not satisfied with the first room because it was small and we had a lot of baggage. We upgraded to a business class room for $11 and we were very satisfied with the space in the room. Our overall stay was excellent.

only disappointment is that as a single traveller you get given a double room but only a single duvet and one pillow rather than a double duvet and multiple pillows as the bed should have.

Nice, clean hotel in city center.
Hotel was clean and very comfortable and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is well worth the EUR6!

Nice choice for the area
The location is convenient, the parking is challenging, the room is small but clean. The staff were great. There is a very nice park within a few minutes walking distance.

Fabulous value for money
Our stay was really lovely. My partner and I travelled with our Daughter and grandson who is 6. The hotel catered for all our needs and the staff were all warm and friendly. The hotel has a number of complimentary sweets and my grandson loved them!! Breakfast had a wide selection including a waffle maker, again leaving my grandson shrieking with joy:0)

Pirmasens - great stop off.
Pretty easy to find in town centre with free parking. Decor a little tried and rooms quite small, but as a stop off on a longer journey could not be faulted. The service was excellent and staff willing and friendly. For the price paid this was very good accomodation. For only €5 you could also get a very high standard breakfast (which really puts to shame those hotel chains charging £10-15 for something no better). I had a walk around the town and had a cheap meal out. I recommend this hotel as a stop off and was not disappointed overall.

Just up the hill from the train station...
This hotel is easy to get to from the train station...in fact, once I exited the train, I turned to look for it and found that it was an easy half-kilometer walk (if that) up a hill from the train station. The staff is friendly and very helpful, so if you don't know the lay of the land in Pirmasens, don't fret, they will help you. There is Wi-Fi available in the rooms and it is well-situated. The fussgaengerzone is not far away - about 300m or so - and just about everything else one would want to see in Pirmasens is in easy reach of the hotel as well. If you are stopping by there, be sure to give this hotel a look. It is also easily accessible by car and has it's own parking lot (don't know if the hotel charges to park there or not).

Great hotel for business/ short trip
Hotel is small but compact breakfast selection was if good variety and quality. Staff were very friendly and efficient, only downside would be the "high speed" wifi Internet in the rooms, was not very good but that is a minor criticism overall.

Das Personal war freundlich und kompetent. Das Hotel ist, nett ausgedrückt, in die Jahre gekommen. Der Begrüsssungsapfel war von schlechter Qualität. Der Fernseher ging nicht. Der Hausmeister, auch sehr nett, musste kommen um ihn anzustellen. Warum legt man nicht einfach eine Gebrauchsanleitung hin. Am Früstücksbuffet stand ein grosser Kaffeeautomat, der guten Kaffee gemacht hätte, aber es gab nur dünnen schlechten Kaffee aus Thermokannen. Es gab nur Brötchen aber kein Brot.

Der Empfang an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich! Das Zimmer eiskalt ebenso wie der Frühstücksraum. Die Dame an der Rezeption am Morgen bekam nur schwer ein Guten Morgen über die Lippen, ihr war es wichtiger die Zimmernummer zu erfahren. Alles in allem machte das Hotel keinen tollen Eindruck (leider)

Bitte entschuldigen sie, dass sie ihr Zimmer und den Frühstücksraum nicht in ihrer gewünschten Temperatur vorgefunden haben, wobei wir als Unternehmen gesetzlich an (momentan) noch vorgegebene Temperaturen im öffentlichen Bereich gebunden sind... Unsere Mitarbeiter sind immer sehr gut bewertet und Freundlichkeit hat einen hohen Stellenwert bei uns - daher tut mir es sehr Leid, dass dies bei ihnen scheinbar nicht der Fall war. Das ist gewiss kein Standard bei uns.Ich wünsche ihnen alles Gute und hoffe doch auf ein Wiedersehen - in ihrem City Hotel Pirmasens.
