"I needed a clean, inexpensive hotel to use as a base for activities at beaver lake. This hotel fit that need perfectly.
My stay was great! The room was very clean. There is restaurant and pub in front of the hotel, if you tell them you are staying at Edelweiss you get a 10% discount.
The bed was nice and comfortable, the pillows were nothing to write home about, but few hotel pillows are.
The owner was friendly, as were the guests I met. I stayed in the back part of the hotel. Each room has a couple chairs outside the door and there was a nice deck at one end. In the evenings deer come out to forage in the back yard.
I frequent beaver lake and will use this hotel for all my future trips.
