"It is a wonderful place, in the middle of a garden with olive trees, apple trees and chestnut trees. From our room we could see both the coast and the sea of Riposto and Giarre and from the other side the volcano. Breakfast was very tasty with locale goods, some directly made on spot. Se had the chance to have a dinner and I regret I was not able to try all the dishes of the menu. Staff is very helpful and discrete. An amazing stay! "

"Die Apartmentanlage Virdamuri ist wunderschön angelegt inmitten zahlloser Orangen- und Zitronenbäume. Von unserem Schlafzimmer hatten wir einen unverbauten Blick auf den Ätna, traumhaft! Die Wohnungen sind sehr stilvoll und praktisch eingerichtet. Zudem sind die Gastgeber wahnsinnig nett und hilfsbereit und habe immer einen guten Tipp wenn es um Restaurants oder Ausflugsziele geht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und eine tolle Woche dort verbracht."

"A wonderful property in such a beautiful setting. Quiet and peaceful, surrounded by vineyards with views of Mount Etna and the village of Castiglione perched on a hillside. We loved having access to the swimming pool, the rooms are a good size and the food and wine was excellent. "Great staff and facilities the room was spacious and modern, the grounds are meticulously maintained the breakfast choices were broad whether it was a hot or cold breakfast and very thing in between and you could either eat outside next to the pool or inside. In conclusion I would rate it as probably the best place that we have stayed in to date."

"A real agriturismo, with 1000 olive trees and 2000 orange trees. It's a well kept place, well maintained garden, a big swimming pool. Host speaks very good English. Everyone is very nice and heplfull in every way you need. We stayed here for two nights and used it as a base to visit Etna, Siracuza and of course also Gryfindor pub, which is just 20 minutes ahead. "

"We only booked this hotel for 1 night and wished we could have stayed longer. It is in a gorgeous vineyard and is a great place for families and couples- there is a beautiful pool but what stands out besides a great Room with luscious sheets and views looking at amy Etna is the hospitality of the staff. "At first we were a bit worried as we couldn't find the hotel in the sat nav, but then after we put in the coordinates we found on google maps, we found the gorgeous, serene and peaceful Ai Vecchi Crateri Hotel! We had the beautifully designed room 9 which is on the 1st floor with the view of the hotel's outdoor and pretty communial area. This hotel was a very pleasant surprise for us, as nowhere around Mount Etna, had we seen such delicate and beautiful, art and design come together to blend...

"Nonostante fino a pochi secondi prima fossimo stati al telefono con una collaboratrice esterna, al nostro arrivo non c'era nessuno ad aprirci e una volta riusciti a entrare (sfruttando l'apertura del cancello da parte di un altro ospite) ci siamo dovuti arrangiare a trovare qualcuno che desse le chiavi della camera. Non dico "che ci desse informazioni" perché non ne abbiamo ricevute, né ne abbiamo trovate in camera. Nessuna info ad es. sull'utilizzo del wifi, che infatti non abbiamo mai potuto...

"Beautiful pool, friendly staff, good restaurant recommendation. Best bathroom during our holiday on Sicily. Unfortunately their restaurant was not open - we did not know before! Check the location carefully before you drive there. Can get tricky :) "

"We were traveling through Sicily and decided to stay at the Valle Galfina for only one night while exploring the Mt Etna area. It was tricky to locate the property due to limited signage but things began well with a welcome and glass of wine. However, we seemed to be the only people staying and the owner disappeared for the remainder of the day. Doors were locked and we had to figure out neither the restaurant or bar were open. At about 9pm the owner knocked on the room door to ask for...

"We enjoyed the stay. The property is on a quiet and private road. A beautiful pool and jacuzzi area outside. The kitchen, barbecue and living room area are great for making and enjoying meals. The host was very helpful and accommodating. The description of the property should say that one of the bathrooms is separate from the house with an outdoor shower by the pool."

"We had a great week! Marinella and Angelo were great hosts and have made this a beautiful space for a family retreat. It was beautiful with the flowers in bloom and the pool was a huge plus for the kids. Close to the highway so you can get to Taormina and Etna quickly, even if the road from the highway to the house is a little loud sometimes. A very beautiful and unique house that makes a memorable trip."
