We were two couples and booked 2 double rooms. 2 hours before checking in we received a link to go to a different a accommodation location than the one we booked with no explanation. It was a residence not a hotel. No Reception at new location, nowhere to buy a coffee or water (not even a vending machine), beach was 15 minutes drive by car unlike the hotel we booked. Breakfast was served in a run-down coffee shop15 minutes drive from residence and food selection was dismal....

"The house was perfect! A 3min walk to amazing swimming, and a close drive to small charming villages as well as more bustling Marzamemi. Roberto and his wife were there when we arrived, easy to communicate with, and helpful. WiFi did go out once, however he was very attentive and checked in until it came back on. I also asked for recommendations for restaurants and he got back to me immediately. I'd absolutely recommend this spot to my friends, and would stay here again. "

"The apartment is in a small fishing village/town with lovely bars and restaurants that are full of Sicilian families on holiday. There are hardly any non-Italian tourists which was ideal for us. The sea is crystal clear which is great for snorkelling and it’s quite literally 1 min from the apartment! It’s an ideal location for 3-4 days and a great base for seeing Syracuse and Ragusa. A fantastic find!"
"Breakfast was a hit… every morning Marta was in the breakfast room singing soothing karaoke oldies! Also the staff was a great help to find a laundromat and grocery store… there are neither in Marzamemi itself. It’s a very small town, but lots of cafes.
