"Meanest hotel stay ever. Thin towels, one robe, 10% left on the toilet tissue that was also cheap and thin. Warm not hot water. Surely receptionist and breakfast not as advertised [picture of cooked breakfast] was lobby coffee, buns, fruit. No butter. One english tea sachet in room. Paper or plastic plates and cups. Plastic is not eco friendly.
Upside, the room was spottlessly clean. Very expensive for cheap [as in quality) accomodation. "

"The Abode On the Sea is very charming. The bed was especially comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. The view is spectacular! I especially appreciate the hot water on demand and great water pressure. The abode is very accessible to the lovely town of Winslow/Bainbridge Ferry and other attractions like several beaches, the Grand Forest and a quick drive to the Rolling Bay Area and Bloedel Reserve (a must see natural delight). We highly recommend this delightful abode."

"The most perfect paradise for glamping on Bainbridge Island. From the functional but lovely outdoor toilette and shower to the friendly goats, peacocks, and umbrella of trees and other flora to the heated pool, comfortable teepee sleeping under the stars, this property was heaven. We would highly recommend, owner was a great resource and super welcoming. I've never staged anywhere this magical. We will never forget this getaway from our busy lives. Thank you so much to the owners "

"Our family was in town for a wedding; this property provided a perfect location to attend the event. The home is immaculate and very much as described; the grounds are exceptional. Our host, David, was very proactive both before and during the stay; he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He personally made a house call to drop off a recreational item. We'd definitely book this property again. "
