Check in was fast but woman who checked me in never gave me my waterpark bracelets so when my family was ready to go to park we had to go back to lobby to get bracelets and she never informed us that we'd have to call for rooms to be cleaned daily. Called housekeeping for towels and never received them. Room was good size and it was comfortable. Bathroom kinda small for price you pay.

Nothing wrong on Expedia’s end. In fact super easy and convenient. The resort however, was a different story. I don’t know if they were over booked because of other events. But they did not honor our room type. The front desk agent claimed to up grade us to a king suite, but with a child, it was not ideal. The pool dining experience was also lack luster. They made a burger wrong, said they would comp it, then proceeded to charge us. It was only resolved after it was pointed out to a food runner. Aside from those two things the resort is average. Pool good. There is a lazy river wave pool and smaller pools in the buildings with rooms. There are also water slides but our little was was too small. The star for us was Tropical Sno Ahwatukee. The lady running this small delicious stand is amazing and even offered us a free sno cone on a particularly hot day that had been misordered. It made our day at the pool.

Upon walking in to the lobby for check in, it smelled of nothing but sun block. Then when I checked in the girl helping me was hung up on a drawer that was falling apart from her desk. I was charged over $500 some of which was resort fees (expected) the rest for a hold to cover “additional expenses that we could incur during our stay”? When we made it to our room it was ok at first sight. We loaded in our things unpacked quickly and left to the lobby grill. Terrible service, overpriced food, and rushed by server that was only not rude at the time the bill came. From there we went swimming at a small pool near our room and burned our feet on the pavement between the chairs and the pool. We were surprised they don’t have the cooler pool concrete around the pool. At the end of the night we went back to the room to settle in. We ordered dinner on DoorDash and showered while we waited. The shower was dirty with stains. We quickly came to realize the drain was clogged, no way I’d be giving my kids a bath in there so quick showers all around. the provided shampoo was terrible so we had to go buy some and we bought some milk for our kids as well. Opened the fridge and found old waters and snacks from previous guests. Once we sat to eat dinner and watch some tv we noticed 4 different spider webs in the living room area. The kids had socks on and were playing around and everything was instantly stained from the dirty floors in the entire room. Very disappointed

Beautiful hotel with great pools to cool off in! It would have been nice to offer guests a microwave for reheating meals and popcorn… teenage boys require constant feeding options.
