While the apartment was clean and comfortable, the check-in process was horrendous. Prior to booking, I messaged the host about a 4:00 pm check-in due to an event my family needed to attend at 5:00. The host agreed, but on the day of check-in, the host said she wasn't sure she could accommodate and ghosted us until 4:55, when she finally sent the code for the door. We sat outside the empty apartment for over an hour waiting for check-in instructions, and wondering if we even had a place to stay. We were over an hour late to our event. In the house, there were no wifi instructions. Thankfully, we weren't there all that long. This was the most stressful VRBO experience I have ever had.
