"Our family stayed here while we were in town for a family funeral. The location was perfect and being next to the river created the peacefulness we needed. The bedrooms were very comfortable and clean and the bathrooms were clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and very nice. We will definitely come back here for future stays when we come back home. "

"The Black Hawk Hotel is a favorite of mine. Beautiful rooms with modern bathrooms. And the location on Main Street places you in the midst of a great selection of restaurants and pubs. I will definitely be back when my travels take me back to Cedar Falls. "

We messaged the host about this and didn’t hear anything back, which was disappointing. A simple explanation or brief apology would have been appreciated. The hot tub should not be featured so prominently in the listing. "
