"Was booked for three nights at this hotel. Got there and they had given my room away. Said that they had run my card before I even got there and that it declined, which it actually didn’t, my credit card company froze my card because I thought it was fraudulent, so they canceled my reservation. No phone call or anything. Upon arrival to the hotel Expedia said that my room was still booked. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude. Called to speak to management the next day and they said they had no record of my card being run or the room being canceled. They were supposed to call me back with more information and never called back."

"Nice new property. Although breakfast was served until 10am, at 9:30am there was nothing left and all the people who got there at that time were not able to eat anything but bread and butter/jelly.! Impossible to heat the shower water."

"It was a small cute hotel however, sofa bed had yellow and brown stains. The outlets in the bathroom didn’t work, we needed to get our room key reactivated because it didn’t work after eating breakfast. "

"Enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and convenient. The accommodations were comfortable with plenty of towels. The instructions were clear and concise. The only had a few issues arise during our stay:1. The power went out soon after we got to the unit, and while I was in the shower, but we got instructions on the location of the breaker, so we were able to resolve it pretty quickly. 2. The street lights outside were very dim and sparse making it hard to see but this was of course no fault of the owner. 3. There wasn't any shampoo or conditioner in the unit, so we had to go to the local target to pick some up.4. It was pretty difficult to get the thermostats working and there were three different thermostats but once we figured it out, we were good to go. These are all minor details and overall, had a great stay. It was close to shops and campus."

"The location was perfect for us. I wanted to stay near my childhood home and this house checked the box. The house was cute, clean and conveniently located to shopping, dining and is close to all that New Haven has to offer."

"First, I would stay here again in a heart beat! It’s an adorable place. With that said, it could have been a little cleaner. The rug under the bed was very dirty. They should consider replacing it or getting it deep cleaned. The sink in the bathroom had dirt around the faucet. I cleaned it for the owner. The sink also broke. The hot water wouldn’t turn off. I sent the owner a message and turned it off under the sink. The outside is a little dingy and cobwebs everywhere. They could decorate the flower boxes with cute fall decor to elevate the space and make it a little homey. They also could have more towels. There was only one washcloth. Other than that, the place is so quaint. The bed was rather comfortable and we slept well. There is some noise from the road, but to me that helps me to sleep. They had everything we needed if we needed to make a meal, but we did not take advantage of it. It’s close to Quinnipiac and much better than a hotel! We’ll definitely be back. "
