"Wonderful experience! "

"Was booked for three nights at this hotel. Got there and they had given my room away. Said that they had run my card before I even got there and that it declined, which it actually didn’t, my credit card company froze my card because I thought it was fraudulent, so they canceled my reservation. No phone call or anything. Upon arrival to the hotel Expedia said that my room was still booked. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude. Called to speak to management the next day and they said they had no record of my card being run or the room being canceled. They were supposed to call me back with more information and never called back."

"The place was lovely, well accoutred, and tastefully decorated. We particularly appreciated the furnishing of crib, high chair, and pac'n play for our toddler. The gym downstairs was a great addition. Also we appreciated the shoveling of the driveway as it snowed the day we were leaving. "

"Best place we've stayed in several visits to New Haven. Beautiful and comfortably redone second level unit with lots of space and everything you need. Lots of natural light and conveniently located to Yale."

"First, I would stay here again in a heart beat! It’s an adorable place. With that said, it could have been a little cleaner. The rug under the bed was very dirty. They should consider replacing it or getting it deep cleaned. The sink in the bathroom had dirt around the faucet. I cleaned it for the owner. The sink also broke. The hot water wouldn’t turn off. I sent the owner a message and turned it off under the sink. The outside is a little dingy and cobwebs everywhere. They could decorate the flower boxes with cute fall decor to elevate the space and make it a little homey. They also could have more towels. There was only one washcloth. Other than that, the place is so quaint. The bed was rather comfortable and we slept well. There is some noise from the road, but to me that helps me to sleep. They had everything we needed if we needed to make a meal, but we did not take advantage of it. It’s close to Quinnipiac and much better than a hotel! We’ll definitely be back. "
