"This lodge had everything you could ask for and provided anything you will need.The people that own it contact you to ask if you want your log fire lit for arrival and when you do get there they are ready to give you a walk through and explain anything you need to know.The welcome pack has any information you will need from working the kitchen appliances to local things to do.We had the best time over Christmas at this lodge enjoying the cosy space and the hot tub was an added bonus.Another brilliant feature was night lights in the twin room.I’m sure we will be returning"

"We’ve stayed at these cottages twice now and had a lovely stay both times.We are a family of four, with 2 small children and the cottage has all the equipment we need. The rooms are warm and cosy, lovely views out over the fields with llamas and plenty of wildlife to watch. Jean, the owner is very accommodating and always happy to help."

"Lovely lodge to stay in open plan kitchen lounge with a very nice L shaped couch two double beds and two bathrooms. The hot tub is lovely and big perfect to relax with a drink. The lodge is alway spotless and smells fresh love this lodge it’s our favourite."

"We found the property easily although tricky to park due to steep hill but we could easily park a little way down.Property was as described and very clean. Furniture and fitments were fine. Beds were ok. Plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen had plentiful equipment, missed having a teapot though. Very handy for Gills takeaway food, fish and chips was huge. Would stay here again."
