"We stayed here for a week. The facilities and cleanliness of the apartment were quite good. However, because the building is located close to both a main road and the railway, it gets very noisy at night. Trains frequently blow their whistles when passing through the nearby station. We ended up having to buy earplugs and move the bed position just to get a decent night's sleep. If you are sensitive to noise, be sure to prepare earplugs or take this into consideration."

"Large suite with one comfortable bed for two. Seems like a lot of wasted space with closets that are huge. Place could use an update as the walls are in a bit of rough shape paint peeling, cupboards in kitchen are shrink wrapped and peeling as well. Appliances are good. There is a drip coffee maker and this should be mentioned in the suite description. Parking is available at back of building. There is no qr code as described for the Honk app. I sent a message to owners and it wasn't answered. There are very few extras that should be provided in a suite with kitchen such as plastic wrap, bags, foil and paper towels, some basic condiments as travellers don't bring those along on flights. Dishes are random collection that look thrift store quality. There were only two towels provided for 5 days and they looked like old rags I would use in my home. No face cloths, one t towel in kitchen. No hand towels. Some soap or shampoo provided but looked like stuff other people left behind. Room is sunny but the only views are of the parking lot. Steep staircase into building so if you have mobility issues this is not for you. 2 Old pictures on wall and nothing else. Setup is weird with tv in bedroom so you can't watch feom the couch. A floor AC in sitting area had to run continuously to keep room at 22c when it was warm outside."

"The place was super cute and had all amenities as-advertised, although the Wi-Fi was virtually non-existent inside the unit. I was able to get a strong signal just outside in the driveway FWIW.We stayed there late June-early July knowing there was no AC, but a fan was provided and the room cooled off well at night. Unfortunately we couldn't do anything about the humidity which left the floors feeling sticky and the bathroom smelling a little damp. The exhaust fan and rugs on the floors helped.Only real complaint was that the place didn't appear to have been thoroughly cleaned before we got there. There were dirty towels in the hamper, the shower was a bit dirty and the dryer lint trap was overflowing. Other than that, the place was clean and welcoming.The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, even at night. The Halifax transit system is easily accessible as there is a bus stop just a couple of short blocks away. All-in-all, I would stay there again, though maybe not in the middle of Summer. I would have taken the bed home with me, it was so comfortable! Our host was kind and easy to communicate with and the price was right. Next time I would rent a car though - it's an hour one-way to downtown Halifax by bus."
