You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

The Country Nook. A relaxing retreat from the city.

A great country property nestled up against a forested area. This was once a barn that has been converted into the wonderful space that it is today. A small screened in patio off the back to enjoy the mornings. Wonderful hiking trails located just a 2 minute walk away. A common draw to the area is the world famous Stratford festival just a short 15 minute drive away. This is a great retreat from the city. The Country Nook is right beside our house. But offers a ton of privacy. If you have any questions or need something please don't hesitate to knock or send us a message. There is no cellphone service but wifi calling allows your cellphone to work normally. With your opening message will send you how to use it.
Please note we have 2 large dogs who are confined to our property via an Invisible Fence System. They do roam our property but are not permitted in the retreat unit. If you wish to meet them please let us know. Finally, we have security cameras that face the drive way and nook entrance. They do not look into the unit itself and are there to monitor the property only.

Kevin is an amazing host. The property was very clean and well thought out. Everything we needed was there and the place was so comfortable.Echo the dog was very friendly and was very happy to play with us. Loved everything about the place.

Adorable cabin with amenities!

The Cozy Nook was perfectly cozy and stuffed with little extras that made my families stay amazing. Adorable modern farmhouse interior with coffee and creamer in the fridge! Games, streaming, books, fire place outside and in! Everything was so thought out and clean. Wonderful stay, and with so much to do in the area, I highly recommend!!!

Quaint Retreat

Lovely Cabin

The cabin was clean, new and comfortable. Communication was easy and replies almost immediate. Although next to the owners’ house it still felt private. It is an easy drive from Stratford and so much nicer than the hotels in town. We will definitely stay here again!

Amazing Peaceful Experience

Overall an amazing experience not too far from the GTA. Although close to the owners property, You barely notice after a while and you will not be bothered. Owners are extremely responsive and exceeded our expectations in what was provided.

Sweet Spot!

The Country Nook was exactly what I was looking for when needing to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The cabin was spotless, and had all the amenities I needed. Fantastic grounds and places to explore, this cabin truly is clean and one of a kind. The hosts are kind and accommodating, and I look forward to my next visit!

Lovely Winter Getaway

We had a relaxing time here and loved how thoughtful the hosts were in this renovated barn. It's beautiful! We were lucky to have tons of snow around and the hosts offered to lend us snow shoes. This was a magical experience! We got a little lost finding the trail but were rescued swiftly by our host. Kitchen is well stocked for anything.

Very nice cozy and modern cabin

Very nicely decorated and made with quality materials. View of woods in back. Could use a small table in living room for eating but it did have a bar top in kitchen. Was quiet. I would stay there again.

Quiet retreat in the country

The newly renovated cottage (from a farm shed -- very interesting and with character!) is on the edge of a forest very near to the Avon trail. Hikes in the snow were incredible! Amenities are modern and attractive. We enjoyed the quiet, being close to nature, learning new board games, and luxurious accommodations. The perfect place for us to unwind and relax.

beautiful renovated barn

We have family close by in Tavistock, so this was a great home-away-from-home location for us. We visited family then enjoyed the peaceful luxury of having our own space at the end of the day. The property and barn is gorgeous. A lot of thought and love have been put into the design. A must stay for a weekend away enjoying the Stratford Festival, restaurant experience. Bonus, conservation area close by for a walk or picnic. Loved our stay! Thanks!

Engagement stay

When we arrived the place was clean and ready for us to use. There was a little note welcoming us, a little basket in the bathroom with must need items as well as easily displayed instructions on how to use everything. The owner was very helpful in assisting my fiance in his surprise to propose. The cabin was adorable and cozy. I would definitely go back.
