"The house is aiming to be "luxury" but the quality is very basic. Doors were broken, mould in some corners, the "welcome basket" they had mentioned several times only contained the very minimal such as a few dish washer tablets, some tea bags and coffee...which is pretty much standard in Scotland anyways. "We booked a large room and got upgraded. This hotel is sort of like a castle. High ceilings and we had nice view of the forest. We didn't use the spa or restaurant, but they looked good. Staff were very helpful. They had a lift, but we were on the main floor anyway. Plenty of parking."

"We were in a room set up for people in wheelchairs, which was super spacious but the sink was so small and low that it was hard to use. The pool was nice and warm but the ladies changing room was out of service and that meant we had to go back to our room to use the toilet. There’s no restaurant but the location is fantastic and close to everything. Breakfast was so so."
