Location is so remote and off the beaten path that is so relaxing! Hotel was extremely clean. Staff was welcoming. Breakfast was delicious! Nespresso machine made best coffee we had! Comfy beds! Was not sure how to access gym that was listed. Wish I could have tried Spa. Great hotel all around!
The property was gorgeous! The dining was excellent as well! We only stayed one night and it was worth it! Checking in was a breeze! There was a new hire that was very lovely. The young lady training her was eh! Not very friendly or helpful. Checking out was easy and Victoria was more than helpful giving us ideas of place to see along our stops while visiting Scotland!
A beautiful historic group of buildings in highland architectural syle externally that has been thoughtfully and completely moderised internally. Great suite type rooms and very nicely decorated and furnished communal spaces. Good restaurant, dinner menu a little restricted but very well executed. Breakfast is an excellent spread of continental and Scottish fare done buffet style with specialty egg dishes made to order. Interesting, but very expensive, wine list. Slick service delivered by all staff who are friendly and helpful and an interesting international mix. Local village is lovely and very quiet. Surrounding scenery jaw droppingly lovely. Well worth the (beautiful) drive to get to Dunalastair.
Beautiful location and top renovated hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful! Parking just outside the entrance on a small, cute square. Highly recommended!
We loved staying at this hotel! It was so inviting, tastefully decorated, and helpful staff. We especially enjoyed the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Our waiter was exceptional as was the food! The young lady at the front desk helped us with tips for sights around the village! We would stay here again without hesitation.
Beautiful hotel in tranquil and peaceful location. Staff all very welcoming and accommodating. Last minute trip away and stay in lovely deluxe suite. Dinner in the hotel was amazing, very reasonably priced. Comfortable sleep followed by a full Scottish breakfast. Manager checked us out and was very friendly and hospitable and would definitely stay again.
We loved our stay at Dunalastair. It was quiet (we had only 2 other guests while we were there) and had the restaurant to ourselves both for dinner and breakfast.
The amenities were excellent and the rooms were comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
The hotel was fabulous and the staff could not be faulted for their professioalism, friendlieness and helpfulnesd. Best place we have stayed in the whole of scotland.
