"Extremely peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Accommodation spotless, comfortable and cosy. Everything you have at home was available in the chalet, including extra tea/coffee, sugar and a carton of milk. Nothing left to chance and the small touches - like a gift of two mugs, pens and stationery - greatly appreciated. Hosts very communicative and kept in touch throughout our stay. The main building is very family orientated, with a restaurant and bar, and facilities for children, although we didn't...

"We had a wonderful week, based at Jessamine cottage, with helpful communication from the owner.Everything that we needed was provided, as well as a very generous welcome hamper. The cottage is very comfortable and clean, and in a good quiet location. We used the walking leaflets and books for inspiration. There is a local supermarket close by in Blairgowrie and good local walks. The welcome folder gives recommendations for places to eat. We all had a delicious meal at the Old Cross Inn, Rattray,...

"What an amazing property. A real hidden gem. Property was much larger and more spacious than I expected from the listing. Social living areas downstairs were just fabulous and bedroom spaces upstairs were great. A couple of the bedrooms a bit rough round the edges however all bedrooms nice and clean. Outdoor space was great with a fire pit and outdoor furniture. The propertys location is great for peace and quiet, although there is one property next to it we never seen or heard anyone...

McKays Hotel Bar & Restaurant

10/10 Excellent

"I gifted a 2 night stay for my dad and his partner, they stayed in superior double room, they had a lovely time, said the bed was large and comfie and bathroom was a great size, the extra touches with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel was lovely, they really enjoyed their breakfast, plenty of choice on the buffet and the hot food was hot, they also said they enjoyed their evening meal in the restaurant, great sized portions, evening entertainment was a bonus, staff were lovely, very friendly, well done mackays thanks for making their stay so enjoyable,"

Four Points Flex by Sheraton Dundee

10/10 Excellent

"Staff were very friendly, both reception and cleaners. Whole hotel very clean. Ideally sited for station and city centre. Toiletries were nice. Tiny gripe is not enough space to put clothes if you want to unpack. People should be made aware they do not do evening meals although there are plenty options in the local area."

Hot tub, beautifully restored Manse. Fantastic midweek rates available.

10/10 Excellent

"We had the most wonderful family weekend here with a group of 12, ranging from toddlers and teenagers to adults and grandparents, there really was something for everyone. The house and grounds were beautiful, spotlessly clean and very well kept. All of the bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The teenagers loved the attic/games room, while the little ones had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying the gardens. We took the host’s recommendation for an Indian takeaway on our first night, which was delicious, and the dining room comfortably accommodated all 12 of us, including a high chair for the baby. For the rest of the weekend, we found everything we needed to prepare big family breakfasts and dinners. Having an extra fridge and chest freezer in the utility room was a bonus. We used one fridge for food and one for drinks, which made things so much easier for a large group. The sitting rooms were lovely and cosy with the log burners going, we spent plenty of time playing family games and watching films together. The hot tub was the perfect finishing touch for the adults and teenagers.Whilst the wee ones got to enjoy Active Kids Adventure Park, just two minutes from the house, it was a brilliant day out and convenient to have right on the doorstep.Overall, we had such a wholesome family weekend and couldn’t have asked for more. The property was perfect for bringing three generations together. Highly recommend"
