"We had a short but fun visit in Dyers house. I wish we could have stayed longer. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
The owners also told us about the Antarctic Center at Christchurch Airport which is definitely worth a visit."
"over all was very happy with our stay, only grips i suppose was lack of complementary tea and coffee, two very low cost items and lack of lighting around camp it self "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Akaroa Waterfront Motels. Due to the time of year we were planning on the weather potentially being cold and wet - the extra $30+ dollars for the Water View room was well worth it. The rooms are about 4-5 meters from the sea. The spa and massage service was also worthwhile. Although the complex is old the rooms have been freshened up recently and they look good. The standard of cleanliness and overall presentation of the rooms was excellent. We would gladly stay here again."
"We had such a wonderful stay at Hamish & Ronene’s tiny house. Such a cozy, peaceful and warm refuge during the wintertime. We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, watching the sunrise from the loft bed (super comfy!) and relaxing on the couch with the sun streaming through the window. The tiny house is in an unreal location - a short walk down to both Sumner and Taylor’s Mistake on beautiful trails. Hamish & Ronene are so lovely and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Highly recommend! "
"My two sons and I fitted well into this tiny but thoughtfully laid-out house. They shared the double bed, I took the couch - just what I like, though some may find it a little lumpy. The heater did a good job of keeping us warm through frosty nights. Small house, so small fridge, small bench, small cooking facilities, simple meals worked best. A minor point: would have preferred to have a large glass bowl or dish for use in the microwave oven. Quiet suburb, picturesque location near a river, very much enjoyed my daily walks. Would happily stay here again."
