"Excellent location and views. To benefit from the views you do have to access the top units via a number of steps. the door lock key on our unit was difficult to use to open the door."

"We loved the rustic charm of the converted Shearer's Quarters. The record player, outdoor bath, fresh eggs and home baked cookies were surprise bonuses. We also loved reading about the history in a book by previous owner, about the farm being used for horse trekking."

"We had a lovely view over the water. Staff were friendly and the room was well appointed. It’s showing its age a bit but they’ve done their best to update where they can. The wifi speed was exceptional!"

"Excellent location. The host is awesome. Check in included a tour of the room, ammenities & an offer of help with our luggage. We went with the split level appartment which was great but you need to carry your bags up stairs. Location is close to the beach, shops & restaurants."

"Our 3rd time visiting this idyllic place, and although it’s been a few years it still didn’t fail to disappoint. We had relatives from Napier with us this time and they were absolutely blown away by the property and the garden. Thanks again and we look forward to our next visit."
