"The condition of the room is not great - very dated and could do with an overhaul. Cleanliness can be further improved as we noticed that the couch and curtains are dusty. There was no wifi provided with our package - very unfortunate because who charges for that these days! "

"We had an excellent stay in Penang. Our accommodation was superb: great location, excellent facilities, easy to get around. We had a marvellous time in the condo as it had everything we wanted and more. What a great week we had!"

"Not happy with the stay.. Not provide even coffee / tea. The mattress is the cheapest. Not comfortable. I think tilam yg beli harga rm70. Lining with 1 pieces white sheets. Toilet is dirty. Lampu berkelip-kelip. Sofa at living hall, dirty not suitable for use. Please change for a new one. "

"Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room. There are lots of restaurants just steps outside of this hotel including half block of food stalls on street at night. This hotel also offers free shuttle to few local attractions from Friday to Sunday (need to book in advance). I will definitely stay here again."

"Situated on Gurney Drive with view of the ocean and where dining and shopping options are plentiful. Hotel offers free shuttle to shopping mall. No beach so ocean swimming is not an option. The hotel does have an infinity pool. Sago, the hotel restaurant, serves a variety of food including Australian/English, Malay, Chinese, Indian with limited Japanese selections in a buffet style. Did not try the other restaurants on site. Room is very comfortable and amenities are on par with the luxurious Marriott standard. Hotel staff very friendly and available to help with transportation and other information. English is widely spoken by all the staff. Would definitely return for another stay."

"Wonderful place to stay in Penang. Great food options in the hotel and also nearby. Easy walk around the top of Penang and nice to be just out of the busier centre. "Amazing village tour with Sheik! It was highly informative regarding land use, nature, and nature’s medicine. Also met a few lovely villagers who were ever so kind in sharing their garden’s ubat, and introduced me to their friendly & beautiful kitties! And then there was Fauzi with his incredible knowledge of the tides, how to foretell a tsunami, and botany. Overall a great stay!"

"Charming mid-size hotel exuding colonial architectural character. The hotel feels like coming home with the calm ambience. The hotel was excellent all round and nicely located on BTU Ferrenghi. Small touches like balcony bathtub were nice surprise. I would say that some parts of my room need minor maintenance (better cleaning of limescale and one of the sink taps wasn’t working). I would definitely come back to this property for another relaxing stay. Thank you. "
