Panagia tou Sinti is a remarkable cultural monument, however, it is an abandoned monastery and is located in Pentalia, in a valley on the west bank of the Xeropotamos river. The church belongs to the first half of the 16th century and has an octagonal dome with 4 windows. It is an Orthodox monastery and is dedicated to the Virgin Mary In 1997 it received an Europa Nostra award for its restoration and conservation.
