"We had a lovely stay at. It’s a cozy, intimate property with a lot of charm. We booked a suite and really enjoyed the ground-floor setup, especially the terrace and easy access to the pool, which worked very well for us as on a mother-daughter trip. The property itself is compact, but they make very good use of the space and offer thoughtful programming throughout the day, from breakfast to complimentary afternoon tea and different activities in the evening. One small area for improvement would be the towels and bathmats, as several were beginning to show some fraying and discoloration and could probably do with being refreshed. The spa is very reasonably priced and conveniently located within the hotel. The only minor downside was that the fitness centre is right next to the spa, so at times we could hear noise from people exercising, which slightly took away from the sense of tranquility during treatment. Otherwise, everything was lovely — warm service, friendly staff, a peaceful atmosphere, and a very pleasant overall stay. We would happily return."

"Property is aging gracefully but the accommodation needs a refresh. Ceiling fans above bed and on patio would make a huge difference. Wi-Fi mostly stable and food was basic but tasty. Plenty of choice for Warung’s to eat at and shops to browse within an easy walk and supermarket located at the end of the lane that we found very convenient. Will be back just for the pool."

"This is one of the best properties to stay in Bali, if not the best. The rooms are fabulous: spacious, with high ceilings, huge beds with good quality pillows and covers, fluffy large towels, and good quality soaps and shampoos replaced daily. They also provide plenty of water, small treats and fruit baskets. The common areas are clean and well maintained, with a large infinity pool and a flowing ‘river’ that takes guests around in tubes. The restaurant serves a varied menu with dishes from both local and European cuisine. The staff is very helpful and accommodating, ready to serve and meet all your needs. All in all, Dumitra is the place to stay in Bali."

"One of the nicest resorts we’ve stayed in. Our King Deluxe room was perfectly positioned in the centre of the resort with a bonus glimpse of the ocean. Room was well appointed with a balcony, comfy daybeds, a nice bathtub and free minibar excl alch. Breakfast is outstanding, very supportive of this concept as it illuminates the food wastage you otherwise see at high-end buffets. We stayed for 7-nights and still didn’t get to try everything. The spa facilities were also excellent. I’m sure they are more expensive than elsewhere but relatively cheap compared to equivalent quality in my home country (NZ). The main pool is huge and there were plenty of loungers for everybody. Still a few guests that felt the need to reserve loungers/cabanas several hours ahead of any intent of using them - but some people can’t be helped! The aqua-arobics at the pool each morning were a little intrusive but there is also a very nice “quiet” pool you can retreat to. Other dining option onsite were great and plentiful, as was the poolside service. No real need to leave the resort and we barely did. Thank you, highly recommend."

"For a property only 2 years old it needed better maintenance. Loose hand rails, bathroom was grubby, kitchen unit was falling apart. Sewer smell in room. Location on busy road - noisy day and night. Staff were very helpful and full of smiles. Pool at door was amazing."
