"There was a water-side walking trail and small park across the road. The area was very picturesque with coastal hills and mountains across the strait, a variety of large commercial ships, fishing boats of various sizes and assorted personal craft.
The manager was very friendly and helpful. We had accidentally reserved 2 rooms and it was too late to give a refund. However he kindly upgraded our room; it was recently updated (some minor details still to be done) but fully serviceable. It had sliding door access to the front lawn and overlooked the waterfront described earlier.
They offered free cold, bottled water which is a nice touch for travellers."
