"It has been a third year in a row I spend holidays in Rio staying at this hotel. It has always been great - friendly staff, clean room great amenities for the price - great value. I also believe the restaurant is underrated - the lunch and dinner there were really good (and we tried many plates), plus my son really enjoyed the nutella-strawberry pizza they make. Definitely worth staying at."

"Staff was awesome about trying to help me fix the A/C just very busy it took 3 requests. Also I booked thru Expedia which was misleading. It said hotel had umbrellas and chairs and towels available for the beach. It’s why I booked there but it only had towels. The hotel across the street the Regency had chairs and umbrellas. The buffet breakfast was very mid. No fresh orange juice and coffee was not great. Also I got there 30 minutes before closing and many things were messy and/ or empty when breakfast was supposed to last until 10. I recommend getting there really early as it’s packed and food gets picked over quick, nice bread selection was available. The lobby is spacious and comfortable to sit and wait for your group activities. One negative is The twin beds in our room were hard as a rock. I can say that extra firm is not always better. Shower was great for water pressure and after maintenance fixed our A/C our room was super chill. I’d come back again."
