"This is a beautiful home with lots of space to spread out and relax. The photos don't do justice to the ocean views from the top floor deck. The sunrises are spectacular and the beach itself was a beautiful spot to watch the waves, relax, and play in the surf. The pool and hot tub were a wonderful bonus. Cynthia and Eric responded quickly and were so easy to communicate with. We absolutely loved this home and can't wait to go back."

By far the best house we’ve ever rented in terms of gorgeous views of the Atlantic and the Pamlico Sound from ALL windows and decks, its well-appointed kitchen, a great layout and furniture- both of which made us feel most comfortable, cleanliness, and value for the price. The layout with three of the five bedrooms on the middle level is most helpful. For those with mobility issues, having a bedroom on the third level next to the kitchen and living area is most convenient. After busy days spent at the beach and participating in myriad, fun activities, it was nice to come home, relax, and enjoy time at the (also very clean) pool, which is also well appointed with comfortable furniture. It’s an 11 on a scale of 10 for us!"

"when we got there it almost appeared like the main floor was forgotten to be swept, when I contacted Rob he was very polite and helpful. it was very quick to respond to any messages with any questions. a very excellent host and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there! easy walk to the beach, beautiful sunrises, and sunsets, got to see deer and a fawn, loved the outdoor space on the decks and screened in porch . the beach at this location is wonderful! not many people at all"

"This property was ideal for our family beach vacation. There were four adult couples and a teenager and the house allowed everyone to be comfortable and have privacy when wanted or join the family when desired. The layout of the common space worked very well for us. We cooked for all of our meals except a catered dinner, and the kitchen lent itself well to everything we prepared. We did bring some cooking utensils because we knew they were not available in the home, but the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies.Having the ocean right at our back doorstep was heaven, and the deck was wonderful for enjoying the view.Our host was very quick to respond to any questions or issues during the week. I can't say enough about how attentive he was, both during our stay and before it, when we bombarded him with questions. Thanks for a glorious week!"

"Great summer week!! The house was exactly how it is described! Well stocked with essentials and comfortable..Perfect for our family of 4 and dog! Some local tips..Beach gear- there are some items available in the laundry room at the house but also available for rent at a few places. Will probably do this next time to free up space in the car.Beach Fires- there are applications available online to print also in the red binder at the house which is very convenient. Sunset fires on the beach are the best!Mosquitoes! There was a ton of rain here the past 3 weeks and these buggers are multiplying fast. Depending on the wind be sure to come prepared with plenty of protection as most places are sold out. This is an island wide issue currently.Miss Oregon Inlet headboat is awesome! Took my 6 yr old on a fishing trip and the whole family on a dolphin/sunset cruise. Really great experience!The Happy Hour is a great homebase for all the great adventures OBX has to offer!"
