"The hotel is in need of updating and a good deep clean. The carpeting was dirty – I understand that it is the end of the winter season, but it was still pretty dirty. The rooms were fairly clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding clean. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim and not suitable for putting on make-up. There was a definite odor (smelled like garbage) as you exited the back elevator on the second floor which seemed like they attempted to cover with air freshener. (I think it was coming from the room next to the elevator.) Breakfast was good-everything well stocked and hot. It was not a bad stay, and the price was right, but it definitely needs updating."

"1st, was placed next to a bunch of construction groups (noisy), 2nd: TV was broke, 3rd: no glasses to even get a drink of water, 4th: toilet wouldn't flush right, 5th: ABSOLUTLY NOTHING FOR BREAKFAST, no coffee, no rolls, and no staff to be found at 7am, this was a train wreck........................................... "

"Room was clean. Breakfast was minimal but ok to get us on the road. Close to interstate. Room was quiet at night. No pot smell in hallways. "

"If you need a cheap place to sleep and an okay breakfast- this place is for you. Rooms were clean but outdated and rundown. Our toilet ran off and on all night and there was an odor on the main floor by an exit. We got what we paid for and the staff when checking in was great. The pool was closed bc of an issue and they apologized profusely. Can’t complain about price and cleanliness. Just needs some updates."

"The hotel is unkept and not maintained. Room smelled of mildew, remote was sticky and appeared to have been chewed on by a dog. Shower had little water pressure and vanity light flickered. The breakfast was all empty calories, pop tarts and stale mini donuts, with no hot food or proteins. Walls were thin, could hear rooms next door conversation, coughing, and TV."

"House is very clean, comfortable and cozy. Beds were amazing! Couple items to note…. There are no rugs at the doors, entering with snow/wet shoes does create a mess (we made do by utilizing a blanket we had in our vehicle, capturing & containing snowy boots). No toaster or oven baking cookware (pans with wooden handles are available, but we were not comfortable baking in oven with). Again we made due, but cooking breakfast was a challenge. First VBRO we’ve stayed that did not offer an instruction sheet (no WiFi info, no tv instruction, check-out, ect). We’re of the senior discount status, so technology is not our forte. These hiccups did not deter our stay. If the opportunity arises to visit area again, we would definitely choose this beautiful home Communication & responses from host was timely. "
