"I booked this place for the weekend since we were planning on hiking around Starved Rock and Matthiessen Park. The place is overall nice and affordable. The staff was nice. The property was clean. Our room was good. There was a few tears in the furniture but otherwise it was clean! Also, most importantly the bathroom was very clean. It was also close to a lot of food places and a cvs. It’s a good location and it was close to the state parks."

"My mother and I stayed overnight for a wedding. We needed to check in before 4pm so we could change and be at the wedding on time. I called the front desk and spoke to Mary. She was so helpful and told us it works be ready when we got there around 2:30. The run was so clean you could smell it. Plenty of towels, tons of pillows, and the bed was very comfortable. The stay included breakfast. I was leary to be honest, but I was pleasantly surprised. The eggs were good and the biscuits and gravy...

But for the price it was a decent room that was clean. The very best part of our stay was the delicious Mexican restaurant, Jalapenos, that was just outside the door. Worth the stay just for that!"
