My stay at Refugio Angels was exceptional. The staff in particular went out of their way to assist me. This is an extremely comfortable property due to the care of the staff.

The Hotel is a Refuge
This hotel was clean, accomodating, comfortable and the staff was friendly. The only problem was that on Dia de los Muertos we could not easily access the hotel as parking, traffic, and even the GPS was a nightmare. If there's a way to explain or advertise the logistics about how to get to it, that would help. Once we arrived, however, walking uphill, the staff actually went with one of us back down to the car and helped us get closer and with our luggage. Not their fault. Just something to think about. The hotel is near the plaza, activities and situated well.

The hotel initially put us in a large upstairs room with no windows. We were disappointed that there were no windows but it was a nice large room so no problem. We walked around town for a while and when we came back our room smelled like sewage! Our friend had the room next door and her room smelled fine. I told the front desk and no one seemed shocked or surprised or even interested in checking out the room. Anyway, the gave us a room on the first floor which was nice if a little damp.

The location, just off the Plaza Chica was excellent. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. For the very reasonable price, this little hotel is great!!

Great Hotel overall. Just one thing... Try to pick rooms in the second floor, else you will hear everything happening on the floor above.

great hotel
The hotel room was a little cold, but the night receptionist let me borrow a small electric heater. Great staff!! The only thing I was a little desatisfied with was that they did not change the bed sheets without me asking them twice, I stayed for eight days. ☺️

Great experience.
Between Plaza Chica and Plaza Quiroga, great location easy to get around. Internet signal was week but the walls are super thick in this 18th century building. Beautiful old world feel, good breakfast a lite loud on the street side. Loved it.

Es un hotel tranquilo,las habitaciones tienen una decoracion rustica muy bonita,el señor que nos atendio al llegar muy amable,puedes llegar a pie al centro, todos los lugares de conveniencias muy cerca del hotel. Patzcuaro muy hermoso!!!.

Es un hotel muy cerca de todo lo bello de Pátzcuaro, céntrico, los cuartos con lo necesario. Lo malo no tienen estacionamiento ahí y el que proporcionan está muy lejos.

Un hotel increíble!!
Excelente hotel! Está cerca de la plaza principal! Súper limpio, al llegar nos ofrecieron un upgrade de habitación sin costo. Te brindan información de restaurantes y cafés, así como sitios de interés!! Regresaríamos sin duda !

SE LIS RECOMIENDO AMPLIAMENTE
Fue buena experiencia, sobretodo la ayuda que nos dio supersonal(contabilidad) ya que reservamos por error para una fecha distinta ala que fuimos y ya con eso se pueden imaginar lo agradecidos que quedamos,amén de que el hotel es muy céntrico, cómodo y buen servicio en gral.

Estacionamiento muy lejos.
En general bien. Pero no tiene elevador y yo tengo una niña con discapacidad. Así que fue todo un reto subir y bajar. Otra detalle importante es que no tiene estacionamiento propio, y la pensión con la que tienen acuerdo esta muy lejos y hay que regresar caminando; son tiempos de lluvia, y pues a mojarse.

El único problema fue que de la coladera de la regadera salían olores demasiado desagradables, y así durante toda la noche. Todo lo demás es excelente, un hotel pequeño pero realmente hermoso, personal muy amable.
